Peracetic Acid Based High Level Medical Device and Endoscope Disinfectant 

Detro PAA 1500 is a special disinfectant product aimed at high level disinfection of medical instruments and endoscopes.

Detro PAA 1500 can be used in a wide range of applications, from heat-resistant medical instruments to endoscopes. The product is extremely simple to use, only the base and activator need to be mixed. The solution life of the disinfectant is 14 days, making it ideal for meeting regular and long-term disinfection needs.

    It is free of aldehydes and phenols, making it a safer option for users. It is possible to use test strips to measure disinfection efficiency.

    COMPOSITION:

    Detro PAA 1500 Base: hydrogen peroxide, stabilizer, auxiliary substances
    Detro PAA 1500 Activator: N-acetylcaprolactam, n-methyl pyrroidone, excipients  Active substance: 1500 ppm peracetic acid formed by reaction with mixing base and activator

    MICROBIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY:

    Bactericidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, virucidal, sporicidal activity in 5 minutes.

    Detro PAA 1500-2200

    • Pour the entire activator bottle into the base canister. The canister containing the two elements is closed again and shaken well.
    • The working solution is ready for use after 10 No other additives are added to the ready solution. Peracetic acid appears in the working solution.
    • The ready-to-use solution is filled into a clean and closed container.
    • Pre-cleaned and rinsed medical devices (medical instruments) are immersed in the solution so that the surface and all cavities are filled.
    • Close the container and wait for the duration of the effect.
    • After the period of action, medical devices (medical instruments) are rinsed with sterile or distilled water.
    • After the solution is activated, its effectiveness is checked with test The solution is not used if the peracetic acid content falls below 900 ppm.
    • Not to be used on nickel, chrome, plated and aluminium materials.
    • Instruments should not be left in the solution longer than the duration of action specified in the instructions for use.
    • The packaging must be kept tightly closed.
